"Initiating A Movement in New Orleans"

Ready to be part of the something big? Join the iAM New Orleans Movement and register TODAY!
Join over 1000 students in serving the community all over the city. The Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is the biggest annual one-day service event that brings New Orleans college students (Dillard, Loyola, Xavier, and Tulane), as well as the universities' faculty, staff, alumni and their families together to do community service. This partnership supports the ongoing efforts to expand the impact and capacity of partnering organizations to support The New Orleans’ Diaspora effort to return, rebuild, and renew their lives since 2005’s catastrophic Hurricane Katrina disaster.
We will have over 20 different service opportunities that impact a number of issues including: rebuilding, school & neighborhood revitalization, celebration of the arts & local culture, and more! In keeping with the dream, each will randomly be placed in one of our 20 sites with other members of a different university to insure that this is not just a day to serve but also a day to live the dream by making meaningful connections with one of the most diverse bodies of students in the country.
Important Things to Remember:
BUSES TRANSPORTATION FOR THE DAY OF SERVICE DEPARTS FROM ALL LOCATIONS AT 7:30AM AND WILL ARRIVE AT TULANE UNIVERSITY FOR VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN AT 8AM.
XAVIER student will depart from in front of Katherine Drexel.
DILLARD students will depart from the front gate of the university's main entrance.
*Don’t be late!
Check-in, on-site registration, and breakfast will take place in Mc Alister Auditorium on Tulane Campus starting at 8:00am
Registration is first come, first serve! Don’t wait to register and tell all of your friends!!!There will be limited on-site registration on Saturday.
